In der Breitenau

The walls of the building at In der Breitenau 5 were painted by Hans Maier in 1981. The owner at the time, Anton Bretienau, and his wife, Gelinda, had a daughter named Anna — hence the Lüftlmalerei of Saint Anthony (“Anton” in German), Saint Gelinda, and Saint Anne (“Anna” in German).1
