Grubstraße

Grubstraße 2.

Grubstraße 3, “Landhaus Petri,” named for Saint Peter and with a lüftlmalerei to the keeper of the keys of heaven and Earth beside the door.

On the front of the building, a large narrative lüftlmalerei, a Bavarian Mary, infant Jesus, and Joseph depicting their escape to Egypt. 

Beneath the scene, a medallion in German praying, “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, protect this house from all enemies and always remain best friends to Peter Guggemoos”.1

All lüftlmalerei painted by Heinrich Bickel some time after 1945.2
