Forstamtweg

On the wall facing the street at Forstamtweg 1, “Gasthof zum Lamm,” there are two large murals by Heinrich Bickel, a man playing guitar and a woman dancing in traditional Bavarian clothing, painted some time after 1945.1

Beneath both is a smaller medallion showing men in traditional local wooden masks and costumes during Fasching, or Carnival.

Around the corner, a false window painted with a boy in a Bavarian hat communing with a bird on the sill, also painted by Heinrich Bickel some time after 1945.2

At Forstamtweg 5, a corner lüftlmalerei by Gerd Jähnke.3
