Near the corner of Bärenalpstraße, “Bear Alp Street,” and Hochblassenstraße, while taking photos of lüftlmalerei, I met Elisabeth.

She said her mother commissioned the painting of Saint Elisabeth on the side of her house from Pfeffer in 1981.  

When I asked her why Saint Elisabeth, she told me her mother’s name was Elisabeth, too.¹
