A street by street guide to the fresco and facade paintings in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district
Am Königreich
Am Königreich in Partenkirchen, officially named in 1926, runs along the Partnach River from Am Holzhofto Soiernweg, and runs parallel to Triftstraße to the West.
At Am Königreich 5, “Landhaus Antonius,” notes on the top floor indicating that the building was built in “Anno Domini 1930,” but has only a single lüftlmalerei — a painting of Saint Anthony of Padua, the Franciscan friar, in a bed of clouds, in the center of the building facing the street, for whom the house is named.
